Partition Center’s Annual Event and 2023 Journal Release
In the midst of rain in New York City, ISPaD: Indian Subcontinent Partition Documentation Center or Partition Center’s annual forum and journal release was held at Partition Center in Queens, New York City, opened by its new Chair, Mr. Proyotosh Dey. It was held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 11 am in hybrid system with many attending physically at the Center, while others joined on line via Zoom.

The forum was moderated on line by a Board Member Ms. Priyata Dey, while in person forum was moderated by Board Member Mr. Alireza Ebrahimi. There was a large number of participants from several U.S. states, India, Bangladesh, Italy, Sweden, England, the Netherlands, including many human rights activists, and several rights activists from New York. All other Board Members Mr. Dilip Chakravorti, Dr. Shefali S. Dastidar, Dr. Tom Lilly, and Dr. Sachi G. Dastidar, were present at the forum. Our larger report will be published in our December 2023 newsletter.
